How I got to know Cynthia

I was Cynthia’s neighbour at Ponggol. She lived on level 5 while I lived on level 14. We chatted periodically when we bumped into each other. The chance that brought us closer was when I bumped into her again. She was very pregnant then with Charmaine but she looked down and out. I quizzed her and was perplexed when Cynthia told me that her then husband had abandoned her and the family (She had a 1 year old son, Jase) for another.
